The management board of the institute is responsible for leading and managing the systematic functioning of the institute. The board is chaired by Dr. Thant Pyae Tun (Managing Director), who received highly respected Fellowship from the OTHM Qualifications (FOTHM, UK), Chartered Fellowship from the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr FCMI, UK), Fellowship from the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA, UK), and Fellowship from the Institute of Leadership (FIoL, UK). Dr. Thant Pyae Tun founded this institute and provided leadership for the institute. He is also the author of the two volumes of Business Master Textbook, which is a landmark publication in private management education sector of Myanmar. Dr Zaw Ye Hein (Executive Director) served as the member of the board and he received Fellowship from the OTHM Qualifications (FOTHM, UK), Chartered Fellowship from the Chartered Management Institute (CMgr FCMI, UK), Fellowship from the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA, UK), and Fellowship from the Institute of Leadership (FIoL, UK). He is the co-founder of the institute and he co-authored the two volumes of Business Master Textbook. He also serves as the lead for internal quality assurance at the institute. Dr. Tun Tun Khaing is an advisory member of the management board of the institute. He is also a professor who teaches hospitality and tourism management at the institute. He has more than 40 years of both professional and teaching experience in hotel and tourism management sector. As the secretary of the board, Ms. Ohnmar Kyaw (Finance Director) handles the arrangement and scheduling of board meetings, reporting and operations. She is a master’s qualification holder from the UK and also a member of the OTHM Qualifications (MOTHM, UK). She assists the functioning of the board operation and implementation of the board decisions.

Two volumes of the Business Master Textbooks stand as a landmark publication in the private management education sector of Myanmar. They were authored by Principal Dr. Thant Pyae Tun and Co-Principal Dr. Zaw Ye Hein of Myanmar Management International College in 2020 and the institute’s academic team and faculty members assisted and involved in the editorial process. The textbooks were originally written in Myanmar language and the contents were mainly research-based covering the twelve subjects of management including Professional Development Skills, Team Leadership, Motivation and Communication Skills, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Strategic Leadership, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Strategic Management, Project Management, Economic Principles, Business Research Methods, Globalisation, International Management and Social Responsibility.
